Caretaker Role
Whiteley Woods OAC has a great opportunity for the right person to support our amazing Centre. We are looking to recruit a resident caretaker to live in one of our cottages on site. The role is unpaid but the successful candidate (with partner and family if appropriate) will not pay rent for the three bedroom cottage at the centre, being responsible only for council tax, utilities and all other household costs. In return, you will carry out nightly checks of the Centre and perimeter of the site, see groups out in the evening and deal with any emergencies or intruders.
The successful candidate will need to have an appreciation of the groups that visit our centre and be comfortable living and working alongside them. The Caretaker role is central to the security of the site and will provide customer service to our visitors. There is also the opportunity for some paid work on a zero hours contract basis.
