Outdoor Learning Adventures
Our self-led Outdoor Learning Adventures are ideal for school trips, or as part of a residential, and are aimed at groups working with children aged 5-11.
Children become Space Explorers or Time Travellers and take part in fun activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, imagination and teamwork.
The adventures give children and educators the opportunity to explore, play, experiment, and create; discovering more about themselves and the world around them, and building stronger connections with nature and each other!
The activities and resources have been developed in collaboration with Curriculum Development and outdoor practitioners, and with researchers from the University of Sheffield’s School of Education. They support classroom learning for each year group (1-6) in National Curriculum KS 1 & 2 core and foundation subjects. Workbooks, sessions plans, knowledge organisers and audiovisual content, are provided.
The adventures last approximately 4 hours and cost £175 (per group of up to 35 children), or £60 if booked as part of a residential.
