Volunteer with us
Whiteley Woods OAC relies on the support of our fantastic volunteers and we are always happy to hear from anyone who has time, skills or enthusiasm to share! With nine acres of woodland, four campsites, and three accommodation buildings, there is always lots to do on site.
It’s a great place to spend some time enjoying the outdoors and helping us make sure we can provide the best adventures for young people. If you want to join our team and think you can contribute as a one-off or on a regular basis, then please get in touch by emailing oac@whiteleywoods.org.uk.
Here are some ways you could help.
- Everyone is welcome at our regular working days where lots of families and friends come to do fixing, cleaning and tidying jobs around the site. Dates are announced in advance and advertised on our Facebook page and in our newsletter.
- Arrange a volunteer day through your workplace or organisation. Please put the subject ‘Corporate Volunteer Day’ in your email.
- Support our Staff team and Management Committee by sharing your skills or interest in: Health and Safety, Buildings and/or land management, Environmental management, Outdoor education, activities and skills, Fundraising, or anything else that fits with our work.
- Tell us what you can do and we’ll find a way to get you involved!
