New Equipment!

We have had some new equipment delivered to Whiteley Woods this week! With the new Petzl harnesses now in use on our Crate Stack/Tree Climb we can happily add some shiny new Camp helmets to the collection too!

We would like to say a huge thank you to the wonderful Friends of OAC who kindly raised the money we needed to purchase these helmets.

Climbing equipment has a limited life-span; the more you use it, the shorter it’s life. This means we have to keep a close eye on our safety equipment with regular inspections to make sure it’s all up to scratch. Everything must be individually labelled with an accurate record kept and updated regularly. Luckily we have a fantastic Centre Manager who keeps on top of these things!

Make sure you come up and try them out! The new equipment will be in use on our very own Crate Stack & Tree Climb which can be booked in via the Activity Bookings page.
